Is your car ready to use, after a year of reduced usage? A year of lockdowns and staying local, the country is beginning to open back up again and we are all starting to travel further. Many cars have spent more time sat on the driveway than usual. If you are planning a longer distance trip, it may be worth getting a small service and inspection carried out to check it over for any potential problems. As a result of travel restrictions this year, a lot more people will be relying on their cars for UK based holidays. We would advise booking your car in now to ensure your car is in tip top condition ready for enjoying the year ahead.
New Service ! We now carry out Remapping: REMAPPING & ECU CLONING: We carry out Remapping on many makes and models, we can also carry out Cloning to Engine ECU’s. WHY WOULD YOU CLONE AN ENGINE ECU? There are many reasons to Clone an Engine ECU, if your ECU is faulty but still readable then now is the time to investigate whether its possible to clone your Engine ECU. Once it becomes unreadable a clone is no longer possible and rectifying the problem becomes more costly. Engine ECUs can become faulty for a variety of reasons, water ingress is a common issue, age deterioration, driver failure within the ecu or cracked solder joints are just a few examples of possible faults your ECU may experience. Car Maintenance: Cars can be expensive, but keeping on top of car maintenance and servicing can help reduce the costs in the long run. By leaving a fault or not regularly maintaining your car, you increase the chances of the initial fault developing into something much worse and often costing you more to put right. We find that cars that are serviced annually and have faults addressed quickly, have a much lower need for additional work and are less likely to break down on you. Obviously all cars have the potential to break down, however by carrying out regular maintenance and checks you reduce the chances of this hugely.
