New Service !  We now carry out Remapping: REMAPPING & ECU CLONING: We carry out Remapping on many makes and models, we can also carry out Cloning to Engine ECU’s. WHY WOULD YOU CLONE AN ENGINE ECU? There are many reasons to Clone an Engine ECU, if your ECU is faulty but still readable then now is the time to investigate whether its possible to clone your Engine ECU. Once it becomes unreadable a clone is no longer possible and rectifying the problem becomes more costly. Engine ECUs can become faulty for a variety of reasons,  water ingress is a common issue, age deterioration, driver failure within the ecu or cracked solder joints are just a few examples of possible faults your ECU may experience. Fog! – the use of lights when driving

The use of Lights when driving in Fog, has sparked numerous posts on local facebook pages, different peoples opinions on this matter always make for a hot conversation topic! Its a shame that some people don’t consider the risks they are putting themselves and others at by not using adequate lighting when we have Fog. This week has been particularly bad and it looks like its to continue. The Highway code states that ” You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves”. Volvo XC90 /Broken Swirl Flap Runner-Smoke Machine

A recent discovery on a Volvo XC90 was a Broken Swirl Flap Runner, difficult to detect by eye, without stripping out lots of parts to get to it to diagnose.
