Car Battery draining overnight why? Suspect your Car battery draining overnight? One of the main reasons we see for a car not starting when you try to use it the next day, is a car battery draining overnight. This isn’t the only reason for a car not starting when it was fine the day before, but it is a very common fault that we see on a regular basis. We often get called out when the customer has already had their mechanic change the battery, starter motor or the alternator and they still have a problem. What vehicle electrical faults have we looked at recently? So what vehicle electrical faults have we completed recently? I use the word vehicle in this instance as we dont just work on car electrics, we also do van electrics as well. No 2 weeks are ever the same the variety of work we see is different every week, some weeks we see lots of similar jobs, others every job is different, you just never know whats going to be booked in next.
