A survey showed that half of british motorists didnt think they would pass their test today. So would your driving match up to the new standards? The new test regulations from December 4 will see up to 21 vehicle safety questions added, and traditional manoeuvres substituted for parallel parking or reversing and rejoining traffic. Mysterious Water Leak – Audi Cabrio
Mysterious Water Leak – Audi Cabrio We recently had an Audi Cabrio in, it had water inside the drivers footwell. The customer had spent some time trying to establish where it was coming from, it seemed that when ever it rained the car gained a new puddle. We got the car in and tried to create similar condition to those that may have caused the problem. Please see the video attached to see what we found: Click here to view video

This is why you should always Check your Nuts!
This story is a great example of why you should always Check your NUTS! A pedestrian was left with a fractured chest and skull when he face-planted into the ground after a runaway tyre hit him on the back of the head. Roberto Carlos Fernandes, 50, was walking along the pavement with his wife in Ipatinga, Brazil, when the loose tyre came speeding towards him. It had just come off a vehicle on the opposite side of the dual-carriageway – and careered over two reservations towards the couple. It bounced several times before smashing into the back of his head – face-planting him into the hard concrete. Click here to see the video of what happened It may have been a freak accident but in reality if wheels are not fitted correctly and torqued to the right setting then this … Continue reading

Its a shame that some people don’t consider the risks they are putting themselves and others at by not using adequate lighting when we have Fog. This week has been particularly bad and it looks like its to continue. The Highway code states that ” You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves”. So for those of you who think that lights are only for when its dark – Please ensure you use them day or night, if we have fog! By not doing … Continue reading
